Raritan River Railroad Passenger Station

This is our last year to move the old RRRR station! It has officially been given to the Milltown Historical Society by it’s (now) former owner, Mr. Curran, and awaits the move across the street to the Open Space land.

The big obstacles in our way, as a for this project, over the past several years. Our RRRR Restoration Committee is now working diligently with the Borough of Milltown, Middlesex County, Brown & Glynn Construction to move this along in a timely and cost effective manner.

So far, we have permission and approval from the County to use the site that is listed on the Borough plans for the Open Space park, which has a section that is marked for the station; the B&G says the structure is solid (frame and such).

Check back frequently for updates, and information on how to support this project!
